Events and Things to do in Reno, Nevada
Washoe Public House, a local, chef-owned restaurant specializing in craft food and cocktails, is hosting a party in honor of its one-year anniversary. The event will be held Tuesday, April 17 from 5:30 p.m. to close at Washoe Public House, located at 275 Hill Street. Reservations are recommended and can be made via washoepublichouse.com or by calling 775-322-2710.
The night will feature a menu comprised of Chef-Owner Brett Moseley’s favorite WPH dishes—ranging from Rock Candy Short Ribs to Petaluma Chicken Wings—and each plate will be paired with craft beer selections from local brewery, The Brewer’s Cabinet. The first 50 attendees through the door will receive a free Washoe Public House t-shirt.
Chef-Owner Brett Moseley opened Washoe Public House in April 2017 after spending decades sharpening his culinary skills in fine-dining kitchens with roles ranging from chef de cuisine of Ciera Steak House at the Mont Bleu hotel in South Lake Tahoe to executive Chef at Martis Camp Lake Tahoe.
“I always dreamed of being an entrepreneur and owning my own kitchen,” Moseley said, “which is why this past year has been particularly special. My team and I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to this amazing community for the support they’ve shown Washoe Public House, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our anniversary than right here in midtown Reno with all of the great people who’ve supported us along the way.”
