Thing to do in Reno, Nevada
November is National Novel Writing Month. Join internationally acclaimed novelist and University of Nevada, Reno English professor David Anthony Durham as he talks about the process of finding the stories writers tell, and shares stories and experiences from other authors regarding what sparked their projects. This event is co-sponsored by University Libraries and the University Writing Center.
In addition to this event University Libraries is partnering with the University of Nevada, Reno Writing Center all month long on a series of “Write-in” events. Write-ins will take place in the University of Nevada, Reno Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center and University Writing Center. Write-ins offer participants an opportunity to write the novel the world needs in a supportive and encouraging setting.

University Writing Center Write-In Events
Location: University Writing Center – Pennington Student Achievement Center 350 (room)
Dates: Nov. 9, Nov. 17, Nov. 30 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. AND
Nov. 12, Nov. 19 and Nov. 26 2 – 4 p.m.
