Movement for Optimal Body Function

The human body is one of the most amazing designs on earth, it was designed for strength, power, and and efficient functioning. However, due to our modern sedentary lifestyle our bodies lose the ability to function optimally over time; this can cause a host of issues such as joint pain, repetitive stress injuries, muscle imbalances, loss of ability to effectively complete daily tasks, poor circulation, and a host of other health issues. Experts are calling sitting the new smoking! Whether you are a competitive athlete, fitness enthusiast, or suffer from pain this class can benefit you. Drawing from multiple exercise modalities, participants can expect to work towards optimal body function through mobility, core strengthening, posterior chain activation, spinal stabilization, and functional movement exercises. The goal of this class is to empower community participants to take control of their bodies, so they can do whatever it is they love in life with less pain and lower risk of injury. All levels welcome.
