Tracing the lines of fatigue— the dip of shoulders, oxen straining a yoke, the coil of a dropped rope— “Shoulder Lines Sinking” explores descending forms and shapes of exhaustion through soft sculpture and fiber installations. The exhibition will be accompanied by a limited edition catalogue featuring an essay by Julia Schwadron.

Sarah Lillegard is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Reno, Nevada. She received her BA from Walla Walla University and is currently an MFA candidate at Sierra Nevada College. Lillegard has participated in artist residencies in Utah, Nevada and Michigan.
