Join Nevada Humanities at the 4th annual Literary Crawl on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 from 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for an exploratory afternoon and evening of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry readings, as well as panel discussions, workshops, and a few fun surprises. All ages are welcome at a variety of family-friendly readings and activities throughout the day. All events are free. Some venues are 21+.
2:30 p.m. “Prologue” introduction at Sundance Books and Music, 121 California Avenue, Reno
3:00-6:00 p.m. Readings, panel discussions, and workshops on and around California Avenue.
6:00 p.m. Keynote speaker Adam Johnson at the Nevada Museum of Art (reserve your free tickets at nevadaart.org)
5:30-8:00 p.m. “Epilogue” party with book signings, food trucks, and musical performances, Sundance Books and Music
Featuring Adam Johnson, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Orphan Master’s Son, as well as over 50 local, regional, and national authors, poets and artists.
Crawl Off the Page at the following venues: Arts for All Nevada at the Lake Mansion, The Loving Cup, Pignic Pub and Patio, Bibo Coffee Company on Sierra Street, Truckee Bagel Company, Home NV, Sundance Books and Music, Arte Italia, the Nevada Museum of Art, 1864 Tavern, Ceol Irish Pub, and Salon Platinum.
