TMWA Offering Free Spring Landscape Workshops

Nevada landscape‘Tis the season.

‘Tis the season for getting your lawn and landscape in order. Come snow, rain, or sunshine, learn how to prepare your yard for the growing season by attending free workshops offered by  Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA). TMWA’s conservation specialists will present step-by-step processes you can take home and use.

Scheduled Workshops:

Sprinkler System Start-Up—Wed., April 5

Tree Care—Wed., May 10

Drip System Maintenance—Thurs., June 1

Sprinkler System Maintenance—Wed., June 7

All workshops: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at TMWA’s offices located at 1355 Capital Blvd. in Reno.

Additionally, the community is invited to attend the Landscape Planning and Design Workshop on Saturday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. Attendees will learn how to plan and design water-efficient home landscaping, develop a site-analysis diagram of their yards, and create a conceptual landscape plan.

All workshops are free and open to TMWA customers. Space is limited and RSVPs are required for all workshops. RSVP to [email protected]
