Where once there was old worn out motels there now is a park to showcase Burning Man art as well as a mural by Joe C. Rock.
There are six pieces of art from Burning Man: Electric Renaissance, Electric Dandelions, The Good Luck Horseshoe, Trasparenza, and StarWay as well as the mural.
The opening was studded with Burning Man and Reno’s art communities, as well as local political representatives.
The opening was certainly a party with music, fire spinning, and lots of high energy. Check out the video for a taste of the party and a bit of the speeches.
