Date:

The Passion of DraculaThe Passion of Dracula
This is a story most of us know well and this production by Laughing Owl Productions tells the tale in a very traditional way. Girl meets bat, the bat falls in love and is ultimately betrayed. Dracula played by Lewis Zaumeyer is stoic and intense, perhaps at times a bit mellow dramatic and campy, perfect for this time of year.

The character that shined for me was Renfield played by Scott Dundas, at times I felt compassion for this character, even as he played his part in this nefarious scheme. This is a fun play told in a traditional way with talented actors who take us on a ride perfect for Halloween

Carson City Ghost Walk
This is the time of year that the ghosts come out to play, and that is very true in Carson City. Tours are led by wonderful characters and they take us to places of history and darkness. Entertaining and educational this is one event that is a must. If you missed this one you will have to wait till next summer when it starts again and don’t forget the October edition next year. Here is a video to give you a taste of what they offer.
