The Vagabond Inn located at 3131 South Virginia Street has been purchased by Michael Bathla.
After identifying the hotel as an investment opportunity, Bathla said his plan of action is to complete a number of improvements before the upcoming holiday season.
These improvements include a recently renovated swimming pool, upgraded bedding, LCD TVs and new bathroom fixtures. The building’s exterior, lobby and business center are also being updated.
“We are excited to see the finished product and optimistic about the growth potential for both the property and city of Reno” said Bathla, “Not everyone coming to Reno is looking for a hotel with a casino attached.”
