CARSON CITY — The amount of taxable sales in Nevada jumped 8 percent in July compared with the same month a year ago.
The Nevada Department of Taxation reported Tuesday that there were $4.3 billion in taxable sales in Nevada in July. Nearly $337 million in taxes was collected off those sales, and about $85 million of that went to the state general fund.
