BuildNV provides those looking for construction jobs with the resources they need to succeed.

“We know what an amazing place Northern Nevada is to live, work and play; and now companies like Apple, Tesla and Switch have realized it as well. This portal provides us the opportunity to educate potential workforce across the country about the tremendous opportunities, economic advantages and abundant resources available in this great region.” said Aaron West, CEO of Nevada Builders Alliance. “On behalf of the regional construction organizations, we are excited to launch this platform.”

Over the next several years, Nevada is estimated to hire more than 35,000 skilled trades people, and this higher than average growth rate will necessitate new schools, hospitals, housing and other commercial buildings, which will in turn necessitate more skilled workers.

“It is exciting to see the construction industry proactively respond to the region’s growing need for construction workers with the launch of BuildNV.org,” said Mike Kazmierski, CEO of EDAWN. “The only way we can address this unprecedented projected growth is by innovative industry initiatives like this.”

Nevada is estimated to hire over 35,000 people in the skilled trades over the next several years. With the regions higher than average growth rate, the need for new schools, hospitals, housing and other commercial buildings means the industry will need more quality workers.
