Last month, a two-day collection held by FOA members in local 7-11 stores raised funds to feed families at St. Vincent’s. The collected money purchased 20 cases of ¼ pound hot dogs, enough to feed 800 people.

“We also decided to make an additional financial donation of $2,000 in order to help pay for at least another 800 meals,” says Rich Rose, local 7-11 owner and President of the Cal-Neva FOA. “We think St. Vincent’s is doing so much in our community to help people in need. We wanted to do our part to give back to our community as well.”

“This is an incredibly thoughtful donation,” says St. Vincent’s Dining Room Coordinator, Ray Trevino “We are only able to do what we do for hungry people because of generous donations like this one.”
