knpb_reno_nevada-300x200-8885449-1998236Starting promotions on the world’s largest social network can be daunting. A three-hour workshop is being held August 28, 2015 from 9 a.m. to noon to teach Facebook marketing basics.

The workshop covers:

  • How to set up a business page
  • Understanding the different types of Facebook posts
  • Interpreting Facebook’s statistics and insights
  • How and where to invest your time and money into Facebook marketing

This workshop is hands-on and interactive, led by Bob Conrad, Ph.D., APR. A laptop computer and a personal Facebook account are required for this workshop. Free wifi will be provided.

“There is no magic formula for successfully using Facebook to promote and market a business,” Conrad said. “This workshop, however, will give people useful tools to better promote their business, non-profit or event with time-tested tactics used on a variety of different types of Facebook pages, from businesses to bands.”

Space is limited so early registration is strongly encouraged. Early registration is $70 plus fees until August 24. The price goes up to $110 after August 24 , 2015.
