Shortly before 7 a.m. on Saturday May 2, 2015 a citizen walking on the Truckee River path near Lake Street saw a man lying face down with blood around his face. Reno Police and Fire personnel responded, but the male victim was already deceased.
Reno Police Homicide Detectives responded and began to conduct an investigation into the incident.
The identity of the 50-year-old male victim will not be released until the Washoe County Medical Examiner has notified his next of kin.
