First started in 2007, the purpose of Record Store Day is to celebrate the nearly 1,400 independent record stores in the United States, as well as thousands more around the world. Stores on every continent, except Antartica, will be participating in the event.
Each store participating plans a variety of different activities including concerts, cookouts, artist meet and greets, guest DJs, and more.
Sundance Books and Music is inviting the community to come by the store between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to enjoy new music and browse special Record Store Day releases.
