2015 SCHOLASTIC ART AWARDS CEREMONY SATURDAY MORNING AT NEVADA MUSEUM OF ART

WHERE: Nevada Museum of Art, 160 West Liberty Street, Reno
WHAT: An award ceremony for the 2015 Scholastic Art Awards winners, honoring Northern Nevada’s most talented teens.
Since 1999, the Museum has overseen the Northern Nevada visual arts component of The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, a national competition for middle and high school students. This partnership with the Holland Project Gallery honors talented young artists from across the region. Exhibitions of the winners will be on display at both locations. Winners advance to the national competition. All regional award winners are invited to this ceremony attended by students, parents, teachers and members of the community.
WHO: The Scholastic Art Awards 2015 is hosted in partnership with the Nevada Museum of Art and The Holland Project.
