Psychedelic Circus and Art Show Fundraiser Being Held April 25

Date:

att_poster_2015-344x500-5144489-1668193Scott Turek (Au, Bazooka Zoo), Sheep Shepherd (Manifesty Designs, Art by Sheep, Reno World Dance Collective) and The Generator INC. Community Art and Builders Space invite a celebration of Reno’s unique crossroad inspired culture of art.

Originally hailed as a specialized gallery show for Sheep Shepherd’s unique paintings, craftworks and art, the event, on Saturday April 25, 2015, has become a celebration of everything strange and alluring.

Dress in your favorite circus/psychedelic attire and step into a door disguised as the head of a giant Anglerfish and be transported to a whole new world.

There will be a huge 30k watt sound system to get down on, along with black lights and lasers. There will be an art gallery experience, live bands and DJs, aerial performances, dance numbers by many of the best regional dance troupes, an enormous couch fort, massage tables, face painting, camera portrait station, acro yoga workshops, crepes, cheeses and carnival games.

All The Things! is a suggested donation-based event that will be held at the Generator INC. Community Art and Building Space in Sparks Saturday April 25, 2015. The event will be serving as a gathering place for creative minds to be exposed to what the Generator is all about while connecting with and celebrating the diverse and often wild nature of the Truckee Meadows art culture.

A formal reception for Sheep’s artwork will be held at 7 p.m. with all performances beginning at 8. The entry fee is a suggested donation of $15. The show is all ages, however the Generator requires first time visitors to sign a safety release waiver. Throughout the night there will be an auction including artworks and services donated from many artists and professionals around the Reno/Tahoe area.
