Nevada Women’s Expo Showcases Nevada Entertainers

jeffcivillico_headshot_vegas-257x300-1816130-1147947The 13th Annual Nevada Women’s Expo, our region’s premier consumer show for women, will be held March 28 – 29 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

Las Vegas headliner Jeff Civillico is known for his high-energy shows including humor, clean comedy, amazing stunts and he can also juggle!  He will be appearing on Saturday, March 28. DETAILS HERE

Local celebrity, country singer and wild horse advocate, Lacy J. Dalton, will be performing on Sunday, March 29. Dalton won the Academy of Country Music Award for New Female Vocalist of the Year in 1979.  In 1999, she compiled the Wild Horse Crossing compilation. It was released by her own Let ‘Em Run foundation, which worked to preserve the wild horses of the west.  DETAILS HERE

More entertainment includes our local heroes, our local first responders (12 at this time) who will be modeling fashions by Macy’s to get a jump on next season’s clothing.   DETAILS HERE

Fun and educational demonstrations will be sponsored by Home Depot, Chef Taylor and R Salon.

United Blood Services will be accepting blood donations at the show.  Attendees can visit the Expo website and sign up for a donation time.

Door prizes drawings will be held all weekend.  Both days will have diverse and fun door prizes donated by our vendors. A special door prize this year is a $1,000 cruise.  There will also be several lucky women who will receive $100 to “Shop the Show.”

Attendees will be invigorated in the Rejuvenation Garden decorated by The Garden Shop Nursery.  They will be refreshed resting in the peaceful surroundings and ready to keep shopping the Expo.

Free day care for 2-9 year olds will be available from The Creative Arts Center on a first come, first serve basis.

Some of the exciting and unique vendors include Accessorize, Jamberry, Michael’s Plumbing Heating & Air, Linen’s Wholesale, Sit Means Sit, and SAS Shoemakers.

Sponsors for this year’s show include:  Wells Fargo, Macy’s, KTVN Channel 2 and the Women’s Radio  Network.  General admission is $5 with a discount available online. Ticket holders on Saturday receive free entry into the show on Sunday.
