Circus Circus Reno Will Go Dark in Observance of Earth Hour

circus-circus-reno-300x225-2595925-7753601Exterior Lighting at Circus Circus Reno, including Topsy the Clown, will be dimmed Saturday, March 28, 2015 8:30-9:30pm PDST.

What: Circus Circus Reno will dim lights at its resorts to join millions around the world in celebrating EARTH HOUR.

Exterior lighting, rooftop signage, marquees and front features at the Circus Circus Reno will be turned off during the celebration. Circus Circus Reno will unite with Las Vegas’s most iconic resorts and some of the world’s other famous worldwide landmarks – such as the Eiffel Tower, Burj Khalifa and the Empire State Building – in dimming their lights to promote energy conservation.

Why: The purpose is to bring attention to environmental issues. In a year round commitment to environmental responsibility, Circus Circus Reno has taken great strides to change lighting, implement recycling and other green practices to support the world we live in.

When: Saturday, March 28th 2015. Lights will turn off at 8:30 p.m. and will remain off until 9:30 p.m.
