Reno will be packed with green again as the Leprechaun Crawl, one of the newest bar crawls, returns to downtown.
“Our first year we sold out by the morning of the event, and last year we over prepared and still sold out, so this year we’ve tried to make sure we won’t, but we’ll see,” said event organizer Ed Adkins.
In addition to drink specials at several downtown venues, free cover at nightclubs and entrance into costume contests, several new highlights are planned to make this year different.
Silver Legacy is setting up a photo booth on their mezzanine level where you can get your picture taken with the “Little Leprechauns,” Cal Neva will host jello wrestling and Pizza Reno will be giving away glow in the dark necklaces and shot glasses.
“All really high-brow stuff,” Adkins said.
Crawlers need to purchase a $5 commemorative cup, available for pre-sale at Junkee Clothing Exchange at 960 South Virginia Street and other locations listed at www.crawlreno.com.
Festivities begin at 8 pm on Saturday, March 14, with start bars at Silver Legacy Resort Casino and The Waterfall at the corner of West Street and 2nd Street.
