Arturo Infante: Chile’s Four Decades After the Coup D’etat

block_n-7699801-3430383Arturo Infante is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Chile. He has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Hispanic Philology from the University of Barcelona, Spain. In 1974 he entered the world of publishing books working for Seix-Barral a publishing company in the city of Barcelona. Later he became the CEO and President of its Buenos Aires Branch until 1989. Professor Infante was also the Editorial Director for the publishing companies: Grupo Planeta in Buenos Aires, and Sudamericana in Chile. In 2003 he founded the publishing company Catalonia, which he currently directs.

 

The Latino Research Center invites everyone to attend this presentation on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 6:00 pm in the William Raggio Building, Room 2030. The presentation will be in Spanish. An interpreter and wireless receivers will be provided for English speakers.
