This weekend several St. Patrick’s Day events will be offered by local businesses. While the Reno Police Department encourages celebrants to take advantage of everything the Biggest Little City has to offer, we also encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly.
During the St. Patrick’s Day weekend the Reno Police Department will be taking part in a statewide Joining Forces Operation. Extra officers will be on patrol focusing their efforts on impaired drivers. All of the officers working the Impaired Driving Operation are grant funded through the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety.
The Reno Police Department wishes everyone a safe and happy St. Patrick’s Day and wish to remind everyone: If you drink, please do not drive.
