THE SUMMIT NEWS RELEASE — The Summit invites all yoga lovers to attend “Beats & Flow,” a complimentary DJ’d yoga session at The Summit on Thursday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. Partnered by athletic apparel company, lululemon athletica, the outdoor hour-long class will be led by Annie Woods of the Concrete Lotus accompanied by vinyl beats spun by DJ Joey Parazo of Reno. The event will take place in the Center Plaza between Vans and Tilly’s at The Summit and feature aromatic candles, complimentary beverages, wine from L’uva Bella Wine Gallery, goody bags and more.
The session will provide a workout that will be functional yet challenging to all levels. All attendees are encouraged to bring their own mats and to dress weather-appropriate. Space is limited, first come first served.
“We are really excited about this opportunity to invite the community out to enjoy a free event and experience yoga in a fun atmosphere,” said Liz Robinson, showroom manager at lululemon, Truckee location. “Our hope is that those who are yoga enthusiasts, first-timers, or have never taken a class, join us for this fun and unique take on yoga.”
While supplies last, attendees will receive a goody bag courtesy of The Summit, featuring gift items from MAC, Sephora, Aeropostale and Tangerine Aveda. Starbucks will be on site providing iced green tea, and following the event participants can head over to L’uva Bella Wine Gallery for a complimentary glass of wine.
