WASHOE COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
Share your favorite fall photographs with thousands of Washoe County park visitors by entering Bartley Ranch Regional Park’s Sierra Autumn photography exhibit.
Photographs will be displayed in the park’s Western Heritage Interpretive Center throughout the month of October. Visitors will be asked to vote for a “people’s choice” award, and all participating photographers will be asked to vote for an “artist’s choice” award. The exhibit is free to the public.
There is no entry fee. Participants are asked to submit no more than two framed and ready-to-hang photos that express views of autumn in the Sierra.
The park would like to receive photos by Wednesday, Sept. 25. To make arrangements, please contact Bartley Ranch Regional Park staff at (775) 828-6612. Participant applications are available at www.washoecountyparks.com.
“Fall is an extraordinary visual season in the Sierra,” said Park Ranger Bryan Harrower. “People take some incredible photographs during this time of year, and the goal of the Sierra Autumn exhibit is to give them a chance to share those photos with the rest of Washoe County.”

When: Exhibit display from Oct. 1 to 31 (the exhibit will be closed on Oct. 25 in observance of Nevada Day)
