The Reno Chamber Orchestra presents two chamber music concerts during the month of July!
Sunday, July 21, at 3 p.m., it’s the Nevada Chamber Music Festival in July in a free hour-long Artown concert at South Reno United Methodist Church, 200 De Spain Lane in Reno.
On Monday, July 22, at 7:30 p.m., we present Classical Music Under the Stars: Nevada Chamber Music Festival at the Lake, a full-length performance as part of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival’s Monday Night Showcase at beautiful Sand Harbor.
Featured musicians include NCMF Artistic Director and violist Theodore Kuchar, Grammy-nominated violinist James Buswell and Reno Chamber Orchestra members Rong-Huey Liu (oboe), Ruth Lenz (violin), Carol Laube (violin), Peter Lenz (cello) and Scott Faulkner (double bass).
These stunning artists represent the internationally renowned Nevada Chamber Music Festival and will whet your appetite for the tenth annual Festival this December. Music will include Bach’s Concerto for Oboe and Violin as well as music by Britten, Rolla and Dvorák.
