Long lost creatures at the Wilbur D. May Museum

extinction-image-5-300x225-5325502-3967604WILBUR D. MAY MUSEUM NEWS RELEASE – The Wilbur D. May Museum’s spring exhibit Creatures is about to go extinct! There are only a few days left to see the amazing lifelike animatronics of the saber-toothed cat, wooly mammoth, dinosaurs, sea monsters, and other long-lost creatures. Explore the legends and myths surrounding Bigfoot, mermaids, and dragons. Visitors can get hands-on and dig for fossils and touch a glacier or try their luck with our scavenger hunt. Admission also includes entry into the permanent collection which features thousands of rare and unique artifacts from all over the world.

The exhibit runs through Sunday, June 2. The Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sundays, Noon – 4:00 p.m., at the Wilbur D. May Museum, Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, 1595 N. Sierra Street, Reno. The cost is $9.00 adults, $8.00 children and seniors, and a $6.00 group rate (15 or more).
