NORTHERN NEVADA MEDICAL CENTER NEWS RELEASE SPARKS – Northern Nevada Medical Center is pleased to announce two new medical leaders.
Terri Ward, MBA, was recently hired as Director of Risk Management, Performance Improvement, Regulatory Compliance at West Hills Hospital, a UHS Behavioral Health Facility in Reno, NV. Ward previously worked for the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners as an investigator and compliance officer. Terri holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management and a Masters in Business Administration.
Elena Mnatsakanyan was recently hired as Infection Preventionist. Mnatsakanyan received her Bachelors in Microbiology and an MD in Medical Sciences. She will be receiving her Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Nevada Reno in May. Mnatsakanyan has served as an Infectious Disease Specialist prior to her relocation to the United States. She most recently served at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
