Dr. Chad Bidart, MD, FACC – Cardiologist
Dr. Chad Bidart, MD, FACC is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology. He specializes in the treatment of heart arrhythmias. A native of Winnemucca, and a fourth generation Nevadan, Dr. Bidart earned his undergraduate and medical degree at the University of Nevada Reno and completed his residency and fellowship in general cardiovascular disease at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. He then went on to complete an additional fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of California Los Angeles.
After completing his training, Bidart joined Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates in 2007. He recently joined the Northern Nevada Medical Group where he provides heart and arrhythmia care at Northern Nevada Medical Center’s Accredited Chest Pain Center. His professional interest’s focus on cardiac electrophysiology and his primary professional goal is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to his patients.
In addition to providing care for persons of the Truckee Meadows, Bidart maintains an active presence in the rural communities. Once to twice a month Bidart travels to clinics, primarily in north central Nevada, Winnemucca, but also assists his colleagues in providing rural outreach to eastern California and all of northern Nevada. Personally, this allows Bidart to maintain the close knit relationships he has established growing up and being educated here in the Silver State.
