Local artist to perform original music in solo debut

Mig O’Hara arrived in Reno in 1992. After twenty years of performing in casino revue shows, lounges, clubs, theatres, festivals, conventions, and special events, she is reinventing herself as a concert artist.

Her upcoming house concert, “Blues and Other Colours” will showcase a variety of her original music, which represents her eclectic musical background and influences. This solo debut will include many original compositions, which have never before been performed in public.

Mig will be joined on stage by her longtime friends, Frank Falcione on lead guitar, Jerry Spicula on bass guitar, Bryan Jenkins on drums, and musical director, Bill Quinby on piano and flute.

Mig is also the owner and active coach of the Legacy T & T Gymnastics team who trains in the High Sierra Gymnastics building in northwest Reno. Over the past 8 years, she has successfully coached numerous athletes to receive national titles as well as members of the USA Nationals Team, World Championship Team and Olympic Trials.

The house concert “Blues and Other Colours” will be held September 30th at 6200 Everest Court in northwest Reno. The festivities begin at 6:00 pm with a reception, including complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres. The concert will commence at 6:30 pm. After the concert, guests are invited to meet the artist and give feedback on the performance. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $15, or in advance for $12 at www.brownpapertickets.com.
