The Summit gives back with Back To School shopping

The Summit has partnered with local organizations and a radio station to kick-off Back to School promotions.

Join The Summit and give back to the community while shopping for back to school during the month of August. Beginning August 17 through August 31, The Summit will offer many back to school promotions and join the Salvation Army in effort to provide school supplies to 600 Washoe County students.

The Summit and the Salvation Army will be collecting “ABC” donation items:  alarm clocks, books and clothes to donate to the back to school drive throughout the promotional period. On August 25, join the

Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum and Wild 102.9 to create back to school bookmarks and a live radio remote from 3 to 5 p.m. August 20-26,The Summit will offer its Shoptimum Rewards™

promotion that will directly benefit the Salvation Army.

On-going events:
August 17-31: The Summit will be accepting “ABC” donations in correlation with back to school. “ABC” donations consist of alarm clocks, books and clothes. “ABC” donations or monetary donations can be dropped off during business hours at the Guest Services office located between Old Navy and J. Crew.

August 20-26: The Summit is offering their Shoptimum Rewards™ promotion. When shoppers spend $250 across any five or more different stores and restaurants at The Summit, $5 will be donated to Reno’s Salvation Army Back to School program. Each $5 donation will go toward the purchase of an entire back to school pack for children in need. The center currently has more than 70 unique stores and restaurants for guests to enjoy. Shoppers must redeem their receipts by August 29 at the Guest Services office located between Old Navy and J. Crew. All proceeds will benefit Washoe County students.

August 25: Families and children can join The Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum at The Summit from 3 to 5 p.m. to create back to school bookmarks. Wild 102.9 will also be on property for a live radio remote from 3 to 5 p.m. in front of Tilly’s and the Salvation Army donation drop-off truck will be located in The Summit’s plaza between Vans and Tilly’s accepting donations.
