KNPB, Community Foundation of Western Nevada present financial series

KNPB Channel 5 and the Community Foundation of Western Nevada, along with other non-profit sponsors, present a series of free, in-depth workshops on estate planning and family financial planning. The Washoe County Library is proud to provide venues for this valuable program.

Other sponsors include Renown, United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra, The Nature Conservancy, Washoe County, University of Nevada, Reno, The Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, The Food Bank of Northern Nevada, the Desert Research Institute and the Nevada Land Conservancy.

It’s Your Estate

Learn how to take charge of your own money and estate. Financial and estate decisions require knowledge in many areas: accounting, finance, legal, insurance, taxes, investments and charitable planning. Experts will help you navigate the areas of advanced health care directives; charitable income; tax planning; IRA, 401k, 403b and 457 plan distributions; being a trustee and executor; and more. The workshops take place over eight consecutive weeks.
