Reno Chamber Orchestra Artown Performances Featuring Violinist Bella Hristova This Thursday and Saturday

Date:

Tickets are still available for both of the Reno Chamber Orchestra’s upcoming Artown concerts featuring world-renowned violinist Bella Hristova!

This Thursday, July 19 at 7:00 p.m. at UNR’s Nightingale Concert Hall, the RCO presents The Four Seasons x2. Ms. Hristova, who won many fans when she performed at last year’s Nevada Chamber Music Festival, will be the soloist for Antonio Vivaldi’s beloved The Four Seasons as well as The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla. Maestro Theodore Kuchar leads the RCO in the program, which also includes Mozart’s Divertimento No. 11.

On Saturday, July 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (501 California Avenue in Reno), we present The Nevada Chamber Music Festival in July – Bella Hristova: Unaccompanied, an unforgettable evening of solo violin music by John Corigliano, 2012 Pulitzer Prize winner Kevin Puts, Astor Piazzolla, Nathan Milstein, and J.S. Bach.

Admission for each of these concerts is $20 general, and $5 for youth age 18 and younger and full-time students. A limited number of $100 VIP tickets are also available for Ms. Hristova’s unaccompanied recital, which include preferred seating, a post-concert reception with the artist, and a signed compact disc.

Tickets are available online or by calling (775) 348-9413. Tickets can also be purchased at the door starting one hour before each performance.

Recently there has been some road construction work being done around the University, which might cause some slight delays in getting to Nightingale Concert Hall on July 19. You might wish to allow a few extra minutes for transportation that evening.

Ms. Hristova’s Reno appearances are made possible by a generous gift from Cecilia Lee, Ltd.
