Extended Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno presents another fun-filled summer for boys and girls of all ages K-12 (soccer, pre-K-12), with KIDS University, Lake Tahoe Music Camp and Wolf Pack Sports Camps scheduled during June to August 2012. Registration for camps is in full swing. KIDS University
June 11-July 27

KIDS University features programs and activities to energize kids’ minds and bodies all summer long, including weekly camp sessions in the arts, humanities, writing, science, math, literature, theatre, history, cultural exploration, sports and games and much more! A day camp open to children entering grades 2-8, KIDS U offers seven weeklong sessions from June 11 to July 27. All sessions are held on the University campus, and some topics include field trips.

Full-day sessions run Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., with a lunch break followed by afternoon recreational activities. Half-day sessions run 7:30 a.m-12:15 p.m. A $25 nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit is required for each weeklong session at time of registration. Individual fees range from $156-$205/per week for full-day camp and $104-$140/per week for half-day camp. Registration is available online 24/7. Nevada Wolf Pack Sports Camps – Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Shoot and Serve, Soccer, Softball and Volleyball
June-August

Nevada’s summer Wolf Pack Sports Camps, offered for boys and girls of all ages and abilities K-12 (soccer, pre-K-12), are hosted by Nevada Wolf Pack coaching staff and current and former players and provide opportunities for young athletes to have fun, learn new skills and get a feel for what the Division l experience is like by using the University’s own athletic facilities! Many camps also include an NCAA education session.

Full-day, half-day and overnight Wolf Pack camps during June to August are available for a variety of ages and abilities in baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, softball and volleyball. Ages, schedules and individual/team fees vary with each camp. Registration for most camps is available online 24/7. Lake Tahoe Music Camp
July 22-28

The University of Nevada, Reno’s 56th annual Lake Tahoe Music Camp invites student musicians ages middle school through high school to participate in an incredible week of music-making, workshops, performances and fun. The overnight camp runs July 22-28 at the Nevada State 4-H Camp in Stateline, Nev., on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Sessions are conducted by award-winning University faculty and regional educators, guest conductors, professional chamber and jazz musicians and more. Tuition is $530 per camper.
