Cowboy Crawl to herd through downtown Sparks on Memorial Day weekend

The Cowboy Crawl takes place in downtown Sparks on Saturday, May 26 from 5 p.m. to midnight. The event will start and end at the Nugget Cabaret intermingled with stops at the Cantina Los Tres Hombres, Victorian Saloon, the Alley, Paddy and Irenes, Great Basin Brewing Company, Oski’s, Burgs, and Trader Dicks. All participating bars are within walking distance of the Nugget along Victorian Avenue in Sparks. Crawlers are encouraged to dress in western wear.

Sponsored by Coors Light and in the conjunction with the Nugget Country Crossroads, the inaugural Cowboy Crawl will feature live country music, line-dancing, cowboy karaoke, and the occasional outburst of “yee-haw.”

Participants can purchase event tickets for $5 at www.cowboycrawl.com or in person at Junkee Clothing Exchange, located at 960 South Virginia St. Day-of-event tickets can be purchased for $10 at the Nugget Cabaret at 5 p.m. Ticket price includes a Cowboy Crawl wristband, cup, map, and a Coors Light. Participants will check in at the Nugget Cabaret between 5-7 p.m. to receive event materials.
