Ardito joins Governor’s Office staff

CARSON CITY — Governor Brian Sandoval today announced that Julie Ardito, APR, a Reno-based public relations executive, will join his senior staff on July 2, as the Director of Community Affairs and Constituent Services.  She will oversee external communications, community outreach, and constituent correspondence and service.

Ardito has more than 20 years of experience in Nevada with a background in economic development, tourism, corporate and non-profit communications.  She is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.  In 2010, she became certified as an Accredited Public Relations (APR) professional from the Public Relations Society of America.

“Julie has proven she knows Nevada and can communicate with multiple audiences on the most important issues facing our state,” Governor Sandoval said.  “I am excited to have Julie join our team and I look forward to working with her to involve Nevadans from all walks of life in the work of this administration.”
