Burglary suspect arrested

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detectives located Nathanyl Lockie in the 1200 block of East 4th Street in Reno, Nevada. At approximately 1:04 PM, Lockie was arrested and transported to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility. Lockie was booked for Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, Probation Violation and a No Bail Felony Warrant. Lockie is being held without bail.

Washoe County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Saturday, November 19, 2011, in the area of Williamsburg Drive and Fontana Court in Cold Springs. During the burglary, three suspects entered the residents unoccupied home and removed numerous items of value. Items stolen included electronics and jewelry.

Patrol deputies identified three suspects, two of which are juveniles. One suspect remains outstanding and has been identified as Nathanyl Lockie. Lockie also has an outstanding arrest warrant, out of the Reno Police Department, for felony possession of a controlled substance. His whereabouts are unknown at this time.

Washoe County detectives are seeking information regarding his whereabouts and/or information about the burglary case. The public should not approach or attempt to detain him; instead call the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at 775-832-WCSO (9276).
