Motorcyclist in fatal Sun Valley accident Identified

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that all next of kin notifications have been made regarding the fatal accident that occurred yesterday at approximately 7:56 p.m.

The deceased motorcyclist was Michael Salsby, a 21-year-old Sparks resident.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team. Preliminary information indicates that excessive speed was a factor.
