Congressional debate tickets available Friday

Tickets to the Aug. 25 debate among the four candidates for Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District will be available at exactly 10 a.m. Aug. 12.

Tickets will be free but limited to two per individual. In total, only 180 tickets are available. The first 100 tickets issued will be for studio seating at KNPB-TV Channel 5, the site of the debate. The remaining 80 tickets will be for seating in the KNPB community room with a live television feed from the studio on a large projection screen.

All ticketed individuals will have the opportunity to meet the candidates in person and submit questions for possible use during the debate.

Tickets will be available online at RGJ.com/cd2tickets. They will also be available in the lobby of the Reno Gazette-Journal during business hours while supplies last.

The debate is being hosted by RGJ Media, KNPB-TV and Reno Public Radio 88.7 FM.
