Family, friends invited to School of Medicine’s memorial service for anatomical donors

Date:

First-year students from the University of Nevada School of Medicine will honor individuals who participated in the anatomical donation program with a memorial service on Wednesday, May 4. Family and friends of those who donated their bodies to medical research and education are invited to attend the service which will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Walton’s Funeral Home Chapel.

Family and friends of donors may attend the service to learn more about the anatomical donation program and to gain a sense of closure for the loss of their loved one.

The memorial service will be held at Walton’s Funeral Home Chapel, 875 West 2nd Street in Reno. For further information, please contact Joyce King, School of Medicine anatomical donation program administrator, at 775-784-4569.
