Bully’s prepares for championship boxing with contender meet-and-greets, ticket giveaways

RENO, Nev. —  Get set for professional championship boxing when Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill serves up opportunities to meet local contenders April 22 and 23 and gives away 10 pair of tickets for the Friday, April 29, fight at the Reno Events Center. Meet Carson City boxer Jose “Chuy” Elizando at Bully’s #4 in Carson City Friday, April 22, and local fighters Jesse Brinkley and Carlos Gaytan at Bully’s #7 on Robb Drive Saturday, April 23, both from 6 – 8 p.m.

Enjoy Tecate draft specials while rubbing elbows with the ring masters and preparing to experience one of the best boxing matches northern Nevada has to offer. Ten winners will be awarded in all, five on each night, as fans get a chance to get up close and personal with these talented northern Nevada athletes. In addition, Bully’s provides one last chance at grabbing a seat for this in-demand event on Thursday, April 28 by giving away dozens more tickets including pairs of ringside seats – at every single Bully’s location.

The April 29 event takes place at the downtown Reno Event’s Center and features Yerington native Jesse Brinkley (35-6) against Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillan (23-0 ) for the super middleweight championship title. Under card rounds include Lonnie Smith taking on David Rodela while local fighter Gaytan goes head to head with Elizando, making his professional debut. Also making his professional debut is former University of Nevada Reno two-time national champion Thomas Gennaro.
