Sandoval orders flags to half staff to honor Judge John P. Davis

sandovallogo-300x91-4521671-4204489CARSON CITY–Gov. Brian Sandoval today issued an executive order ordering all state flags to half staff in remembrance of Fifth Judicial District Court Judge John P. Davis, a district court judge in Nye County for the last 20 years who died yesterday.

“Judge Davis spent twenty years serving the people of the state of Nevada as a District Court judge, and I believe it is appropriate to honor Judge Davis’s devotion to public service and his contribution to our state in this manner,” Sandoval said.

Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset tomorrow.
