Get your flu shot at Scheels this Sunday, Dec. 5 for only $20

It’s not too late to protect you and your family from the seasonal flu virus.  Saint Mary’s Immunization Program will offer flu shots to those aged 3 years and older on Sunday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Scheels, second floor training room, located at the Legends at Sparks Marina.  Additionally, community members can make adult and children’s flu shot appointments by calling 775-770-7100.

Cost for the flu vaccine at Saint Mary’s one-day clinic is $20, or free to Saint Mary’s HealthFirst and Health Choice members who present their insurance card.  In addition, those with Medicare Part B as their primary insurance and Senior Dimension members can receive the vaccine at no charge.

Pneumonia shots will also be provided for $55 and are available for adults age 65 and older or those with certain medical conditions.  Adults 19 to 64 who smoke or have asthma may also receive a pneumonia shot.  In addition, Saint Mary’s Health Plan members, Medicare Part B members and Senior Dimension members can also receive a pneumonia shot at no charge.
