SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

roryreid-150x150-5358987-2146968With the start of early voting this weekend, the Rory Reid campaign will hit hundreds of doors and thousands of phones across the state, in addition to participating in a number of “get out the vote” events hosted by community organizations.

Today, campaign volunteers and field staff will lead a series of voter canvasses designed to create awareness on the first day of early voting. Plans include five major canvass efforts in Las Vegas and three in Reno.

The Rory Reid campaign field offices serve as phone banking centers, volunteer meeting places and canvass launch points in both Reno and Las Vegas. These offices are supplemented with informal volunteer gathering places throughout the state. Scores of volunteers and student interns continue to be integral to the grassroots, local efforts at the center of Reid’s campaign.

Rory Reid is the only candidate for governor to offer solutions for today and a vision for Nevada’s future success–supporting strong schools for a stronger economy. For more information about his campaign or to download his plans, visit RoryReid.com.
