Public meetings scheduled to discuss Water Resource Plan

tmwalogo-8414005-8913910Truckee Meadows Water Authority has scheduled public workshops and meetings for the review and approval of the 2010-2030 Water Resource Plan. The purpose of the plan is to review and/or modify TMWA’s water resource planning and/or management strategies. The following public workshops and meetings are scheduled for review of the plan:

  • Public Workshop
    Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m.
    TMWA Corporate Office–1355 Capital Blvd. in Reno
  • Public Workshop
    Saturday, Nov. 21, at 10:30 a.m.
    TMWA Corporate Office–1355 Capital Blvd. in Reno
  • Standing Advisory Committee
    Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 3 p.m.
    TMWA Corporate Office–1355 Capital Blvd. in Reno
  • Board of Directors
    Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 8 a.m.
    Sparks City Council Chambers–745 Fourth St. in Sparks

Public comment is welcome at any of the above workshops or meetings. To download a copy of the draft Water Resource Plan, or for more information, log on to Water Resources within the “Your Water” section of www.tmh2o.com. Public comments may also be submitted online.
